Works As It's Supposed To
I bought two of these to use this winter instead of the our aging central heat. I hate heating up rooms that we hardly ever go into, so these oil heaters will be used mostly in the two small rooms that we occupy for the better part of the day, and then move them into the bedroom for at night. Even though we're not quite into the winter months, we have had some chilly days so gave these heaters a whirl. They both heated up quickly, and got the rooms toasty in a short period of time. The thermostats seem to work well. The wheels were easy to attach, and the power cord has plenty of length. I appreciate that the handle sticks far enough out so that it's easy to grab without fear of burning your hand. They also look very nice and are compact, making it fine to either leave them left out or put away in a closet when not in use.

Quality and price
We purchased three of these heaters, and they really help keep the furnace from running all the time ,they are a nice quiet heater and very economical to use, we have had two heaters for about three years and just bought another for a backup, in case one of the heaters stop working, and they do not dry out the air like a furnace, so we have not had to run our humidifier, a very nice constant heat, I was given nothing for this review, just my honest opinion.

 Safety features are no Joke!
First day of use I noticed it kept turning off after maybe 15 minutes. I read the trouble shooting section and it said it would turn off after room temp was achieved. I didnt buy it to hit the room, just me while in my recliner. This happened often. The next day I noticed a smell, like a new product smell. It was still turning off after 15 or 20 minutes.
I looked at the extension cord it was plugged into and I noticed it was burned and starting to melt. It took me forever to try to pull the heater plug from the extension cord. I purchased a new cord and there's hasn't been a problem since. The safety feature worked and could have saved my life! I highly recommend this product if for nothing else it's safety features alone.
