I have to say this is probably the best heater that we have ever purchased. I love the fact that it comes with an app and you can control the heater and especially if you have little kids or young big kids running around that like to touch things and mess with things they shouldn't, you can actually lock the heater from the app so even if they try to press buttons nothing will work because it's locked. I also really like the app because you can make it auto turn off, you can set it at whatever temperature you want, and when it gets to that temperature it stops.
We have a pretty decent size living room and I have to say, this little compact heater packs a big punch. It has a really strong blower that truly does move the heat and pushes it into the room. It's very sleek, it looks modern, it kind of looks like decoration because of how nice it looks.
I really enjoy having the app on my phone because we make the temperature lower at night time around 70°. About 30 minutes before we get up to get my son ready for school, I can turn it up to 78 degrees, and it's super nice and toasty in the living room when my 7 year old gets up to get ready for school.
I have found that using space heaters in your home during the winter time saves you on electricity more than having your heat going on for the entire house.
We have space heaters in our bathrooms, we have two in our living room and we also use decorative blankets to insulate the living room to keep it nice and warm so the heaters don't have to work on overdrive.

I would also recommend to switch your ceiling fans to go counterclockwise to help push the heat down, because as you know heat rises - when you switch your ceiling fans it pushes the heat back to the floor.

We live in an older house so we have to be a little creative when it comes to keeping our house warm and electricity bill down.

This heater is absolutely fantastic I would recommend it to anyone because it is super safe, it's easy to use.
I believe it does come with the remote As well, we just don't use the remote we use the app on our phone which is super easy to set up.

My only issue with the app which I think they just fixed was that it would forget my Bluetooth heater and I would have to re-add it every time I wanted to use it but I've noticed as of late I haven't had to do that so hopefully when you get this that isn't an issue for you.
But that is literally my only complaint that I have which is saying something.

If you are trying to pick a heater to buy on here, stop your search after reading this comment it is 100% worth the money. I know when I first looked at this heater when my husband told me that he ordered one, I was like this is a little expensive for a tiny little heater but let me tell you something - it's worth every penny!! We plan on buying a few more just so we have extra heaters if this winter in Texas gets as bad as we expected to get.

I've only had this heater for a week, and let me just say, "WOW!" It works great!

This heater is far hotter than several other brands that I've owned in the past. It's quiet, too. Here are some readings for power consumption and noise levels:

Power Consumption and Noise Levels
Standby: 0.5 W
Mode 1: 960 W (was 986 W a few days before writing this review)
Mode 2: 1270 W
Mode 3: 1420 W
Fan: 4.2 W
Sound level: 58 dB (1 ft, Modes 1 and 2; meter level with heater). 47 dB (3 ft, Modes 1 and 2; meter level with heater). 50 db (3 ft, Mode 3; meter level with heater)

Note that Modes 1, 2, and 3 are when the heater is running. I have not taken any dB readings for Fan Only mode (no heating element on) as I typically run the heater for warmth. The fan in Mode 3 runs louder than modes 1 and 2.

Hotness Level
The heat output is HOT, even on Mode 1. It's hot enough that I need to turn it off from time to time, as it's scorching my skin. Because of this, I mostly leave it on Mode 1 as Modes 2 and 3 are too hot.

I connected this heater to my Google Home. Now, I'm able to command the heater to on and off with "Hey Google. Turn on space heater." Or, I can say, "Hey Google. Set space heater to [high, medium, low]." The most frustrating thing is the poor skills of Google engineers to still get voice commands wrong, even after all these years. I guess it's what happens when on top of bad hires, they have people who speak with heavy accents and cannot write grammatically correct English. Oftentimes, it cannot set the heater level because it doesn't process the commands. Or, Google thinks I want to turn off my space heater when I say, "Hey Google. Turn on space heater." This is the fault of Google engineers, not this space heater.

Safety
There's a tip-over sensor, too, meaning this heater will shut off if it's tipped over. It seems to be an internal switch or sensor rather than a button on the outside that needs to make contact with a surface. I definitely like this a lot more. I don't actually know what type of sensor. It could just be a mercury switch, or it could be a digital inclinometer.

There's a flap on the bottom of the heater, which lets you angle the heater upwards towards you for better warmth. I note that there is not physical switch under the flap. This is good as it's one less thing to break. The tip-over sensor actually broke on my old heater. I suspect the people who designed that passed the actual load of the heater through the switch because over time, I noticed the springiness of the safety switch went away 100%, to the point the heater no longer turns on. This is why I had to buy a new one.

You can also control this heater with an app on your phone. I have it installed, just for giggles. I like commanding things with my voice. Of course, I unplug this when I leave home for the day, in case some hacker gets in and turns on my heater. It becomes a fire hazard. In general, I unplug all heaters as they are fire hazards.

Capacitance Switches
The switches to turn off and on the heater, along with setting the modes and timers are capacitance switches, meaning yet another part that will not malfunction over time.

They sell a remote thermostat, which can be connected to this heater to act as an auto shutoff. I'm tempted to get it, just to see how well it works. As it is now, this heater will never shut off because there is no other feedback loop, unless you enable the sleep timer.

I’m someone who is most comfortable in hot temperatures and hate the cold so naturally I got the room in our house that stays unnaturally cold. It was fine throughout the summer but now in cooler winter months I could no longer tolerate waking up in an ice box every day so I finally bought this heater, which arrived a few hours later (thanks prime), and it has changed everything!!! It has completely changed how I sleep and how I wake up every morning. I no longer have to wear heavy layers to bed and stack multiple blankets just to wake up sweaty and cold. My room is now a perfect to me 73F 24/7 which has improved everything from the quality of my sleep, my energy throughout the day, and my mood. My room isn’t huge but pretty decent sized, and it took about an hour to go from 58F to 85F on its highest setting. I’m not sure how well it’d do heating up a large open area but it’s perfect for a room or office. It feels pretty well built and I got it on sale for about $30 which is the best bang for buck on any personal heater I’ve owned. It’s not excessively loud or annoying either which makes falling asleep with it on pretty easy. I really like being able to control it from the app, and it’s best feature by far is the auto setting. This is a great safety feature and also very convenient as my room is always the perfect temp now. I don’t have to wake up to turn it off when it gets too warm then back on when it gets too cold and wait for it to heat the room up again. Setting it up on the app is very straightforward however I do wish they’d support logging in through Apple ID, email, Socials as I felt like the set up took longer than I’d expect for a heater. However that’s not a big deal or even a complaint.

In conclusion, this heater is by far the best personal heater of the many that I’ve owned. I’m ordering more for my other rooms and highly recommend it to anyone. It’s worth mentioning that I live in Southern California, so someone who lives somewhere that actually gets cold might have a different experience or need a larger heater; you still can’t go wrong with a very well equipped heater for >$50.

I didn’t realize how small they were when I got them but I love them! Heats up my bedroom very well and the way I angle it into my living room it warms that up. I have baseboard heating and was told to get space heaters because it would be cheaper. My electric bill was a lot lower than I thought it would be since I’m constantly running them. I LOVE the app!! I love that it has the timer and I can schedule it to turn on/off. I have the one in the living room to kick on every morning at 8 AM. I can turn them on when I’m on my way home. I love that it has the auto mode so once it hits temp that I set it to through the app it turns off. If it’s knocked around a little it does shut off but I’d prefer that because it’s guaranteed to turn off if knocked over and I don’t have to worry about it burning down my home. This is a good purchase if you’re looking for a durable and easy to use heater. They link well with phone or google and Alexa. Most devices I sync work better with either Alexa or google but this product actually syncs well with both as well as with the Govee App.
They are very safe. I like that they give an option to turn off or turn on the tip over safe automatic turn off option. Having said that, they have a sturdy base with low center of gravity so will not tip over easily. Small dogs shouldn’t be able to tip over easily. I have one in my bedroom and another one in my kids bedroom, the two devices don’t ever get mixed up or interfere with each other. The smart heaters give a lot of options and are very reliable. They have a nice sleek design, oh and boy, they can heat up a room quick. My bedroom is 15’X15’ and heats up within 5 mins. I’ll sometimes move the heater to the living room where the ceilings are vaulted and reach heights up to 15’ and room gets cozy and warm within 5-10 mins. I never use the main heater built in unit for heat, these heaters provide enough heat for bedrooms on their own. If I forget to say “goodbye” to Alexa(which triggers an automatic shut down of heater) when leaving the apartment, I can always open the Govee app on phone and make sure heaters are turned off, very reliable and affordable. I live in Texas not exactly Alaska temperature but lately we’ve been having temperatures below 30 degrees and I’m warm to the point where I can shut off heaters after a while and still be nice and warm. I don't like having to adjust my "cant see what temp your setting" wall thermostat in an UP NORTH apartment... so this little but powerful heater warms up the room fast. Has a Timer too! Great price that I bought two. The settings are low med or high so official temp control to a degree is not it's purpose. Rather to warm the whole space quickly.
