As Good as Space Heaters Get!
Hard to imagine anyone rating this product below 5 stars. Heat output is fantastic with the wide sweeping motion of the heater. And it is so quiet you really have to concentrate to know if it is on or off. I work in a very cold concrete office building and in the winter I would get chilled to the bone. As soon as I walk in and turn on these heaters, within 5 minutes the room feels toasty warm, without feeling obnoxious artificial heat like you get with other space heaters. And the remote control works great. I do a lot of Zoom meetings, and if the room gets too warm I can discretely pick up the remote control and turn the heat down or off without people even knowing what I am doing. Heat up super fast and safety
It turns cold recently in Boise, temperature drops below 50 degrees in the morning and evening. I am more sensitive to colder temperatures and need to maintain higher temperatures at home. This ceramic heater puts out way more heat than expected and suits my needs well. Really a lifesaver. Very fast heats up when I need it and makes my 115sqft small room warm in minutes. I place it about 3 feet away from my bed for the heat to rise up to me. Here are some points I could see after some use to make this heater a good option for people like me:)
Ceramic is more reliable for safety. This well constructed, solid heater really impressed me a lot when I just took it out of the package. Pretty attractive with a gold finish around the LED digital display. Thick cord and sturdy plug, multiple auto shut off features like tip over protection are really big deals. Flame retardant material makes it safe against overheating and fire hazards. You won’t have to worry about the heater in the bedroom when you are tidying up the clutter in your basement.
I use this for a balance of efficiency. When it senses the room is at a set temperature, it stops heating, which helps to reduce the waste of heat. I usually keep it at the eco mode, it can adjust the power based on the room's ambient temperature, meaning that you will only need to pay for the amount of heat you use. Electric heaters work best when they heat up a confined space, so I keep my doors and windows closed for better use.
The temperature control is pretty accurate. Easy to operate. I can adjust to the desired set whenever the weather changes. We all love the remote feature. The remote sensor is located in front of the unit for me to control the heater easily. It’s really convenient to use, I can easily read the temperature, mode, turn off timer, and other status on the display while I am in bed.
The oscillating feature better helps send warm air throughout the room faster than my old heater bought years ago. I definitely enjoy the uniform heating rather than some spots being much hotter than others. Would recommend this to those who need heaters in bedrooms or offices to cope with the cold instantly!

This unit is beautiful. Has a high quality look and feel and excellent works. It is noise quiet as far as heaters go. So here's how I see it.
Some China companies are coming to us China Direct. That means there is no middle retailer pricing it up after the China price to US. In my estimation this is a $200 unit for $75 because of the value of our currency exchange. Until Amazon that was not possible. Amazon opened the door to absolute bargains because we no longer have to go to China to take advantage of our currency exchange rate. Now we can advantage ourselves from that opportunity here.

One of the biggest problems with a central heating system is that it heats the entire house, taking more time to heat and use more electricity. If you are living in a big house like us and want just one or two cozy rooms to stay in, a central heating system can run up your electricity bills in no time. At the same time, there are still some nooks and corners that do not feel warm enough in your bedroom or home office. Portable space heaters are perfect answers for such a scenario. They are small, compact, yet powerful enough to heat the space in no time. As only the space you are in is heated by this space heater, the electricity used is minimal. There is no need to run up electricity bills by heating the entire house for hours or through the night when only the bedroom needs to be heated. Here I got two 16 inches height heaters - push button heater by Lasko, and touch control heater by Dreo. These are also two types commonly sold in space heaters. Both of the two heaters do a good job in my house and heat quickly with 1500 watts of warmth. But which one is more suitable for young couples like us?
CONVENIENCE:
If your heater is not just for near-table use, make sure to choose one with a remote. The Dreo's comes with a remote control which is full-function and easy to use, so it is less time-consuming to heat up. No more bending down to change controls.
LOOKS:
The Lasko design is getting a bit old as far as I can see. The Dreo is updated and meets the demand of some young couples like us. Its black & golden finish makes this unit look really modern and slender for placement in the home décor. Our main living room is a bit retro style, but it fits into the room just right! It does not require much of a dedicated space and can be placed in a safe corner in the room. We use it in the living room watching our favorite show to keep the place warm, and once we are done, we move it back to the bedroom. Sometimes my dog likes to sit in front of the heater (by our side), the quiet warm wind makes him drowsy on cold days.
NOISE:
Both are quiet at all fan speeds, not like other heating units that are so loud that they keep you up all night! Generally, the fan in the heaters makes a humming noise throughout. But I would say this Dreo heater is one of the quietest heaters I ever used.
THERMOSTAT:
The Lasko has 3 heat settings: high heat, low heat, or fan only, and 12 temperature settings. The Dreo has a high, low, and eco, plus precisely adjustable thermostat from 41 to 95 in 1 increments, You can also set a timer for the heater to automatically turn off if required. The Lasko controls are simple and easy to follow yet it has no extra features other than fan speed. From user experience, dreo’s refined custom control is more suitable for young people who are constantly pursuing the quality of life, while lasko’s overly simple design maybe more suitable for some 80-year-olds to quickly get started.
SAFETY FEATURES:
Both are built-in protection, so you don't have to worry about the protection button worn out. A space heater as small as 16 inches may get knocked down by a curtain, a dog, or some furniture being moved. An overheated device lying on your carpet can result in a fire. This tip-over sensor can greatly prevent fires and burn injuries by turning off the heating element before it becomes damaged or overheats in any way, preventing serious accidents from happening. After I have used them a couple of times, they can really do the job.
MY FINAL THOUGHTS:
Beyond the remote, the Dreo does everything the Lasko can plus more including a timer, a easy-to-read display, and a precise thermostat. Both brands can optionally be set to move side to side. The Dreo costs a little more but for us, it’s easily worth it. If you are looking for a delicate modern design heater that will provide ample heat for your small spaces in a big house, then this Dreo 16 inches space heater is the most definitely one I would recommend checking out. It is straightforward to use and puts out a strong heat output for such a small device while also providing multiple safety features, which can be invaluable if you have kids or pets in your home.
Overall this is a quality space heater for an affordable price. Worth buying!
MOST. QUIET. EVER !
I had previously purchased the DREO short square heater, and was impressed. So I decided to give this DREO Tower a try, as I wanted to replace a 360’ space heater I use, but which is loud. This tower uses a much different blower fan design. And it is THE MOST QUIET heater I have ever used. Even the sweeping, rotating motion, is very quiet. 1500 Watts is 1500 watts, but good air movement is a MUST. The control panel is on top. These are NOT buttons, but are contact conductive touch sensitive ICONS. They work well enough, but take some use experience to get use to them. They are NOT illuminated from within, so you need a light to see them. But they do not glow or “shine” in the dark either. The remote works well. It seems to take two clicks to get results. 1st to access the heater, 2nd to make the requested change. I like that after “powering down”, when turned on again, the previous settings remain in effect. There are good grippy rubber feet on the bottom. The cord is 6 feet long, made with good/pliable/heavy rubber. This heater has an “internal” “tip over” “ kill switch”, and does not have the plunger style, bottom switch. This allows it to work well on carpeted floors. I like the size of the lighted TEMP settings, and how they go out, after a few seconds, so as to not shine in your eyes in the dark. The heater thermostat seems to be very close to being accurate, as the room thermometer was only 2’ different from the heater setting. The fan motor must be located near the bottom, as the heater feels weighted at the bottom, making the heater more stable, and less likely to tip over. There is a “hand hold” opening at the top, back side, which helps. I have been using it only for two weeks, so I cannot comment on it’s longevity. It came with a card, offering a 5 year warranty extension, after registering. Of course only time will tell if that is of any value. But “maybe”! That seems to reflect on the company’s confidence in their product.
Needless to say, I am VERY HAPPY with this tower space heater, it works very well, is not too tall or too large. IT IS VERY QUIET !! , And I heartily recommend it to any one looking for such a heater.
Amazingly quiet!
Heat output is maxed at 1500 watts which is the maximum allowed for 15-amp house circuits. Physics are physics - this generates the maximum heat any of these heaters are allowed to do. So, let's get that out of the way. It heats just fine. 1500 watts is 1500 watts no matter what the form-factor.
What amazes me is how quiet this is! I am hard of hearing but I expected to hear something from it. I had to get quite close before I could hear the fan. This does not push hot air a huge distance but it makes for a good space heater. Construction is very good. The oscillation function works and is quiet. The remote control is solid and of good quality. It is compact in size and unobtrusive. The thermostat seems to work well and the LED lights go dark after a bit, making for a very discreet unit.
One weird, but understandable, safety feature is that if you don't touch it for 24 hours, it will shut itself off. That is not a huge issue for me.
This unit serves my needs of heating an area near my desk which is quite cool. I would buy the unit again.
Excellent heater
As others have pointed out, these are extremely well designed and built. I have no complaints about this heater. After using for a couple weeks, it is holding up well. And I love the remote ! Very solid feel and works perfectly, as does the thermostat and other controls. The thermostat does seem to have a pretty wide temperature hystersis (difference between temp it cuts off at and what it cuts on at - but maybe that's due to where it is positioned in the room ?)
Comparing this tall round unit with remote to the Dreo 10 inch one without remote, the shorter one feels warmer and the thermostat on the shorter one may work better. But both are rated at the same power levels, so the difference in perceived heat is just due to the more concentrated heat in the smaller package and/or the way the fans work in the two units. This 15.8" tall unit has what look like stacked elements and more area for the heat to come out - so naturally it will feel less warm than the smaller one. That can be either an advantage or disadvantage depending on your preference. I did measure the power in both and they are what they say (within 10% tolerance or so), so either will heat the overall space the same amount. It's just perception if you're close to the unit.
The smaller/shorter one's fan has remained very quiet but this taller round unit has develops a very slight /faint 'whistling' sound to the fan if left on for more than several hours (not noticeable unless you pay close attention, and the behavior has not changed over the days and weeks I've used it).
So overall, I'm very satisfied with this tall model and with all the Dreo units I've bought.
Exactly what I needed!
I'm absolutely in love with this heater! My prior heater was a tiny, personal-sized one about half the size of this one, and it was very loud for how small it was. It also didn't do a great job of heating up the room it was in because it was so small.
I live in an older, small one bedroom apartment (576 sq ft) that is VERY drafty and not well-insulated. The AC/heating unit is very old and does a terrible job of heating up my home, I was freezing my butt off with the colder temperatures coming in so I knew it was time to upgrade my heater.
I'm so happy I bought this one, I'm sometimes skeptical of Amazon reviews because they aren't as reliable as they used to be but the great reviews for this Dreo heater are the real deal. I love how I can set the temperature to what I want, it's very quiet unlike my last heater, and it heats up my entire home in 5-10 minutes. Very warm and toasty just the way I like. I love that it was an ECO mode and shuts off when my desired ambient temperature is reached so I know this will save me on energy bills.
I have no idea why some are annoyed about its safety features. It's there for a reason, to KEEP YOU SAFE. Do yourself a favor and buy this, you won't regret it.

I got this because I recently moved into a room without carpet, that has a door to the outside and is in the basement. Despite the house having centeral heating, my room was always freezing. After looking at many reviews for several different units, I settled on this one. It makes my room actually livable! I am no longer freezing during the day and my room is now the warmest room in the basement. The only thing I noticed is that when I turned the thermostat to 90, it caused the surge protector to pop. But that could be that I plugged it in with other things. Its now on its own surge protector (I don't want to risk it breaking my laptop or something) and I don't turn it up to 90, I generally keep it in the 70s.

I've had this product for a couple of months. I purposely waited awhile to write this, as one of the earlier reviews had remarked that the heater worked for a few times and then promptly died.
One note I will say is that I got this heater when it was on sale for just under $50. It's worth the full price advertised, but if you can get it on sale, do so.
Firstly, this heater puts out a tremendous amount of heat. I got this for a room that doesn't have a door so I didn't expect it to heat the space that well, but hoped it would just keep it from being bone-chilling cold. Surprisingly, this heater not only makes the entire space comfy, but the adjacent hall to the room manages to get warm from this heater as well.
It's also incredibly quiet. It's the quietest heater I've had for this space, and I've had a few different ones in this space.
It's also so sleek. It looks high tech, while not requiring a lot of space or tech know-how. Plug it in and either push power on the remote or power on the actual device and you're ready to go.
It has three modes and yes, I can tell the difference between low and high heat output. The timer is wonderful. And the remote is serviceable enough to be useful.
Also, other older heaters I've had require a bit of time to cool down enough to fully power off. 15 seconds and this heater is off. It also is cool to the touch very shortly after cutting off.
The only minor thing that has me concerned is that there isn't a filter like on many heaters. That's not a problem. I have no clue if that's even a necessity on this type of device, but I still wipe it down with a Swifter dust cloth every once in awhile to make sure no dust is getting in.
I rarely encounter a product with no cons, but this seems to fit all my personal needs while running smoothly. I don't know how the safety mechanism operates as I've been lucky enough to not have anything tip it over. I have no clue if it's lacking in that regard or not, but otherwise, this is a five star product. Make sure you sign up for the extended warranty. Seems like a nice bonus just in case.

I have lowered by whole house thermostat and use this to supplement it. If I close the bedroom doors it can, in fact, get too warm! I will be interested in seeing how it does as the weather gets even colder, especially at night. I underwent double jaw surgery on January 11th, which has caused me to lose about 11 pounds so far due to the nature of having your jaw banded shut. Thanks to Puddingbrain Poopypants, the cost of energy is going through the roof and I can't afford to heat seven rooms plus a basement, especially since I'm alone. I ended up buying two for my elderly mom, one for her bedroom and living room, and now she prefer to use these head instead of turning on the expensive oil this year. I called support and a lovely female told me what I needed to do and they would send me out a replacement immediately. I am glad of that heater. It is small and effective for a night heating my bedroom. My room heater is damaged so before electrician fixes it I am using this portable heater. One negative thing about it is that it is impossible to set timer. I tried and tried, red an instruction and red it again and again and nothing worked out. Other thing what happened was my outlets became switched off one night. I didn't know what happened. 4 outlets and 2 lights were switched off. I had to think it through and switched a security vault in a wall then everything was working again.

I love that it's quiet and doesn't output toxic burning plastic fumes (like many cheap heaters do) except for the first day of running, as is common with new heating elements. I also appreciate the sleek design, solid build quality, ability to silence the beep, and the remote.
Only downside is that although the oscillation was completely silent at first, it began to make some noise after using for a few days. The oscillation noise isn't loud or unbearable but it does exist.

Its really great to use in bedroom because it really works but we tried using this in our living room, our living room is not that big but it doesn’t heat that much, we had to turn on the main heater of the unit as well for it. But what i like is that you can control the temperature and it has also a timer so you can set how many hours you want it on, and also tou can adjust it to eco , low or high.

I bought this for my reptile room. I have to keep the door shut so the cat doesn’t go in unsupervised, but then it gets chilly in there. In the dead of Winter that room will drop to 65 overnight.
With this heater I easily keep it at 77 in there, all of the time. The digital display is easy to read, and the functions are flawless. It’s also a decent weight, so it’s not easily tipped over. I think it’s a great value, and if I ever need another space heater I’ll gladly purchase a second one of these.

I have several types and brands of portable heaters and bought this one to replace one that died. When it arrived it was smaller than any others I owned and was worried. After setting it up I was surprised at how quickly it heated up, that it was producing more heat than ANY other unit I own, and it was quieter than any other unit I own. This one was a real home run win purchase for me. I moved it to the main large room swapping out the unit there and it is doing better in that large room than previous unit 4x its size.

I actually use this outdoors under a covered patio. I know you are not supposed to but I don't like the large gas heaters. I am a smoker and I don't smoke in the house so it is only used for a few minutes under my supervision and never when it is raining. (which it doesn't do much here anyway). It keeps me warm enough so it serves it's purpose. The only negative I can say about it is that I don't like that the tempurature light goes out after a few seconds. That makes it hard to remember that the unit is on. I'm always afraid that I am accidentally going to leave it on.

This lil puppy is awesome. Good heat output, warms my 8' x 11' bedroom in under a minute. The fan isn't extremely powerful so you can't feel hot air blasting from it like a rocket, which tricked me into thinking it was weak. Nope, plenty of heat output especially for a bedroom or office. Even eco mode keeps my room warm during negative-degree Wisconsin winter nights, and my house does not have the best insulation.
The controls are incredible too, the remote is pretty tactile so once I got used to where the buttons are I could adjust this bad boy from my bed in the dark without a hitch. One of the most satisfying Amazon purchases I've made.
Side note: some people have complained about a smell. The only smell I've noticed is the same smell most heaters have when you first turn them on, my best way to describe it is "toasted dusty air". It goes away in seconds or else I've gotten used to it. Either way I haven't smelled a gross melted plastic or anything like that.

I set my alarm for 15min before I’m supposed to get up now so I can use the remote control to turn my heater on. No more getting attacked by cold air! It’s a gradual heater so unless your sitting right in front of it, there’s no immediate difference. The heater puts heat out sideways so you can place it to blow heat toward you, which is efficient when you are trying to keep warm. I’ve had a lot of space heaters over the years to help heat a drafty bedroom in winter. Most space heaters are loud and don’t last a long time. This heater amazed me with how quiet it is. It just has a little hum that allows you to sleep with it running in the background. Plus, this heater has a remote control and a digital display when most heaters don’t. However, the only thing I dislike is that in the manual it states that “ 24-hour automatic power off without interaction” and this is an annoying feature. I have not found a way to turn this feature off. So basically, I use this heater by setting it to 73 degrees and it automatically turns on and off to heat the bedroom when it gets chilly. However, it turns off the whole heater after 24 hours on its own. So after 24 hours when it shuts off, I have to turn it back on manually and then same thing in the next 24 hours. Super annoying. It already has energy saving and safety features so I believe this feature is not necessary. Seller, if there is a way to disable this, please let me know! I am not running this heater continuously for 24 hours straight. It just turns the whole thing off whether it is heating or not in eco mode.

The heater does a good job of warming up the bedroom while oscillating after 30-40 mins on high (expecting this unit to warm an entire room after 10 mins is unrealistic.) So warm that my husband complained it was too warm in the room. When the unit is close or placed under my desk next to me legs, it's get really toasty and nice. The degree of the air flow is also good in that it's not just on the lower end. It was actually warming my keyboard tray and blowing air on my face at about 4 feet away. I've only used it on Low at night, setting the timer for 2 hours. The timer feature is a nice bonus, so I don't have to worry about it running all night or having to turn it off myself. The remote is a nice to have, but so far haven't needed to use it. The noise level is still high for me when on High or Eco during the day while working; it didn't bother me as much when on Low, not sure why. And I think the noise level will vary depending on your tolerance and how much other noise is in the room when you're running it. I won't be using this as often as I originally intended while I'm working, but it does do a good job with heat output when I turn it on to get rid of the chill in the air.
I will add also that Customer Support was great. They were very proactive and wanting to understand & help solve my issue.

I just received this heater and it is very stylish. I can place it in my living room and it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb space heater. Heats up very quickly, but you do need to sit close if you want to feel the direct heat (like if your feet are frozen, get close to warm up). I could feel the ambient heat in the room after several minutes which was nice.
I plan to use it in my bedroom which also doubles as my home office space, and then move it to the living room as needed. The heat while directly near my desk was nice. But the sound coming from the fan is a bit loud (maybe other reviewers have a quieter machine or a higher tolerance for noise), so I moved it across the room. I left it running for about 30 minutes. I could still hear the steady stream of the fan and it sounds like very loud white noise. But after 30 minutes, when I shut off the heater, the room became silent and I felt relieved. My ears were ringing too, like when you come home from a loud concert... very unusual. I was able to better hear my calls as well after shutting it off.
I'm going to test this out a few more times and over night, to see if I can handle the noise. If not, I'll unfortunately have to return it. Would be a shame because it looks very nice. Will update after a few more tests.

I have had AC/heating unit products in the past where certain function are only on the remote and that is extremely frustrating. The image in the ad shows the temperature display on the front which was one of the main reasons I purchased this specific item, but the display turns off after a short time so that was disappointing. As a safety feature the unit will turn itself off after it runs for 24 hours. I understand why it does this, but I wish that there was either a way to disable this or that it would turn itself back on to the same settings after a certain amount of time being off. Leaving this in a room just to keep temps from bottoming out means I have to check on it daily to turn it off and back on to reset the 24 hour clock in order to keep it going. Not a huge problem, but it is an annoyance.
Aside from that, it is a solid unit and if I needed this size again I would still consider this one. I have a similar featured full tower heater that does not turn itself off after a certain period of time, so if a 24 hour shutoff is a problem for folks I would check some other brands and read the instructions carefully.

I have been using this heater for a week and a half in our 15' x 15' four seasons room that is surrounded by glass. This week we had temps that dipped as low as -2 Deg F overnight, and the heater was able to keep the room temp at 64 Deg F (Setting at 68 Deg F). I love how quite this unit is, and the quality build and feel. Also the Econ setting works well as it kicks down to 830 Watts when it is near temp. It did overshoot to 1520 Watts on start-up, but quickly came down to 1475 Watt. Only wish it wouldn't turn off every 24 hours; I have to remember to turn it off and back on so it doesn't shut down on it's own overnight and wake up to a freezing room. So, those are the only 2 things I wish were better, 1) that a setting of 68 Deg F gets me 68 Deg F not 64 Deg F, and the 24 hour auto shutoff I could do without .
Update Jan 13,2022 it has been a bit warmer the past day or 2 up to 32 Deg F, and the heater has been able to maintain 68 Deg F when set to 68 Deg F.

I've tried other space heaters that didn't hold the temp properly. Would shut off too soon or stay on too long. Some are large and bulky. The Dreo is the best I've found. A few times it turned off and I needed to restart it to but otherwise it works well. That hasn't happened lately. I use it in the master bedroom when all I need to do is heat that room and I turn the whole house thermostat down for the night. I set the Dreo for 71 degrees. Its a good size, not too large and the remote is handy. I do wish the controls on the top were marked more clearly so you could see them in low light. But overall, I have been quite pleased with it and would recommend it.

I got tired of wearing layers when my small apartment got chilly and eventually ended up getting this space heater. The heater itself does its job and helps keep the chill away.
What attracted me to this one was that it came with a controller. However, I am disappointed about how the heater unit does not pick up the signal from the controller well. It only works if I hold the controller close in front of the LED display. At first I thought the problem was the controller itself, but after some problem solving, I concluded it was the heater unit. Surprisingly the controller can also turn my Honeywell fan on/off via the "M" button when it's plugged in. I used my fan to test out the controller by walking around the room turning the fan on/off from a distance and it worked fine.
It's disappointing that the heater doesn't pick up signals from the controller the way I expected it to, but the heater does its primary job, and I can still use the controls on the top of it. I don't consider it a deal breaker. At least I have a back up controller for my fan now.

Like the title states, this is a good unit. It is a good price, aesthetically pleasing, heats well, and has a good remote. However, my unit has a significant problem - the temp reading is not accurate.
When used on Eco mode (turns itself on and off according to room temp based off of what temp you manually set it to) it is not accurate. For example, I set the unit to 73 degrees fahrenheit, and my room was over 77 degrees. That is quite a big difference and defeats the purpose of the eco mode. Although the heater functions well otherwise, it is still very disappointing.

The heater is acting up again. It's freezing over here and it keeps clicking and turning off. This sucks because I was willing to give 5 stars for the customer service I received, but if this product can't remain consistent in how well it works, I have to take stars away. The good thing is they sent a replacement, but who knows the life expectancy on it when I've only had this about a month. I literally have it in the same exact spot where it's been working the past few weeks, so it makes no sense why it's clicking and turning off, and doesn't warm up my room the way it was prior.

I've upgraded my one star review to 5 stars because of the great customer service. After my original review, a company rep reached out to me directly. They really did right by me after my first review to ensure I had a good experience and make sure I had a good product. They really stand by their product and care about making you happy. Also, I finally got the heater to work well when I moved it to another part of the room. Before though, I couldn't do anything when it would shut off on Eco - and it would shut off within the first 3 minutes whether or not it was on Eco. However, since moving it to another part of the room - same outlet - it has been functioning well. My only thought was that it needed to be in the colder corner of the room because it was misreading how hot it was.

Will put out some heat but only through a very narrow strip in the front. In all fairness, I wanted this for my garage, which is insulated and finished but no central heat goes in it. I was looking for an upright with radiant heat like the Holmes and in the listing picture it really glowed like one. But in reality it's just a small space heater. The safety controls are great. I'll keep it and use for emergencies, but just beware it's not going to heat a very big area.

I’ll start off by saying it heats well and quickly. It does what it’s supposed to do. However, I’m beyond annoyed with the stupid clicking sound it makes every 15 seconds or less and I’m ready to send it back or throw it out the window.
I also didn’t get the remote. That wouldn’t be a big deal if the clicking sound wasn’t getting on my last nerve. Not only does it make it hard to sleep, I have to get up to turn it off if I want the clicking noise to stop. The temperature control is completely inefficient. I haven't found an ideal setting so it shuts off once it's warm enough and turns back on when it gets cold. I have always had to control it manually. That means I usually wake up freezing and have to wait 20 minutes for the room to warm up after manually setting the temp. Then it gets too warm and I have to manually turn it down to about 50F degrees before it stops running. Then after it gets cold again, I have to manually increase it to about 67F for it to come back on. I do this all day, everyday. This is now my whole life - manually controlling the temperature. Not happy with this product. Missed the deadline to return it.

This heater does a decent job heating the area we use it for. I haven't tested the safety features. I like that you can set a certain amount of time. My issue is that out of the box the heater has an issue. If you turn it on oscillating, it has a catch and makes a creaking noise like there is something caught inside. For this reason we don't use oscillating when we go to sleep because I'm afraid that something will go wrong. This limits the ways I can use the item and I prefer oscillating because it heats a larger area.

Safter features are great.
Water resistances is a plus for bathroom use/humid spaces.
Cons: Heat output sucks. (wont feel it if you are farther than two feet away)
Eco mode: shutting off when the room is NOT at the temperature it states it is.
It makes a squeaking nose while oscillating which is VERY annoying while sleeping.
Cord/plug portion was VERY HOT to the touch after 25 minutes.
I feel as if it is falsely advertised as it states "suitable for warming up spaces in the home including bedrooms, basements, garages, living rooms, and can also be used in offices, dorms, hot yoga studios, etc". I have used this in my bathroom as its cold in the winter while using the rainfall opened face shower and it made a SMALL difference in heat. Used it overnight in our master bedroom and it did not make it any warmer. Am currently using it in my 8 x 10 closed off office space and its not making much of a difference.
As someone stated, if you are not directly in front of it you cannot feel the warmth. I wanted so badly for this thing to be amazing for the looks and pricepoint but its not. Maybe I just got a faulty one? I see so many good reviews I am hoping its just a faulty... gave it two stars cause it has the potential.

I bought two of these the other day and set them up. One of them has a thermostat that works fine. Sort of. The unit will shut off when my room thermometer reads 70 - as long as I have the heater set at 66. Not a big deal. I just set the heater thermostat at 64 and it heats until 68. But the one in my kitchen has a thermostat that simply does nothing. I can (and do) have it set at 45 and it stays on all the time. Even though my room thermometer says it's 68. Disappointing. Automatic thermostat was the feature I was most looking for.

At first everything about this space heater is great, the heat output, the spinning, thermostat and remote control, plus it looks cute BUT after a few weeks of use it stops spinning, then you could definitely feel the heat output is less than before, also you could hear some occasional small noises as if it was trying to spin again. I noticed a lot of reviews complain that it automatically turns off and on IT’S SUPPOSED TO! Once the thermostat is set to a temperature and that temperature is attained it’s going to turn off and it turns back on once the room starts to cool off. I really liked this heater and wished it worked out for me. The features are awesome when they work. Unfortunately I have to return it.

But since they couldn't be reached, I won't take the chance on a replacement. Refund and in search for a functional unit by a different manufacturer.

I bought this heater a little over a month ago and it was great UNTIL I noticed that the plug can get very hot. Knowing this, I would unplug it for a time to cool off. That's not something I want to do but the heater worked and I kept an eye on it. This morning I went to unplug it to vacuum and I nearly had a heart attack. The whole thing had melted during the night!! I have it on 68° and on eco setting so it doesn't run constantly. It could've burned the entire house down in the middle of the night. I NEVER had an issue with the cord it was plugged into and now it's absolutely destroyed and could've done some serious damage. I wouldn't recommend buying this heater at all until they fix the overheating issues. This is dangerous.

Air flow is very soft & it says 94 degrees on the digital thermometer but the room hasn’t broken 55 degrees yet & it’s not a big room at all. If you sit 3 feet away from it you can’t feel the air blowing. I don’t think it’sa great heater unless you need something right next to your desk but you could definitely find cheaper & better at that point. The other heater i mentioned i have is actually smaller than this one and works better. I was looking for something that was better & would heat the room faster but this ain’t it.

I’m not gonna lie, this unit is a bit underwhelming. I got it because I was really impressed by the other reviews. The heat output isn’t very hot at all, It’s barely even warm. I will say though, I also bought this units smaller brother at the same time which works pretty darn great, which for me personally is redeeming for Dero in my eyes. I have 2 of these and they both have the same problem. Once the room reaches the set temperature, the unit correctly shuts off, but then it NEVER turns back on unless you go over and manually increase or decrease the temperature setting, or turn the power off and then back on. I gave 2 stars because the unit is beautiful and heats the room nicely, but it's a shame they used faulty thermostats in these (after I purchased mine I saw a lot of reviews mention the same thermostat problem). Now I'm not sure if I should return it for a refund or try a third unit. I wish I had one that works because I really like it otherwise.

My daughter got this heater for me for Christmas. It came early and she let me have it. I plugged it in and after an hour the cord was hot so when I unplugged it the plug part was hot too. I just figured it was a faulty one so I exchanged it for another one. The second one did the same thing only worse, it burned my finger when I checked the plug that goes into the wall. I would stay away from this one.

I purchased this heater 1/17/22 after another space heater I purchased here on Amazon died after close to three years of reliable use.
Let me start by saying the positives. This heater is stylish, very quiet and has great functionality. It heated my bedroom fairly quickly and kept it warm.
The big negative here, which is one that you REALLY don’t want in a heater, is that it overheated my electrical socket. After about a week of no issues I started to smell a slight smell of like, burning plastic which I figured was just the heating unit itself as sometimes new heaters do. But yesterday I smelled a really strong stench of burning plastic and looked to the wall that it was plugged into and the outlet was smoking! I immediately unplugged the unit and the cord was extremely hot as was the wall socket and burned. I will be returning this unit and trying a different one. This may not be the norm for this unit but after seeing other reviews it may be a crap shoot as to wether or not you get one like this and that gamble, at least for me, is just too risky.

It is very quiet but for me, the unit's thermostat does not work well at all. I also do not like that it blows an unpleasant blast of cold air for 15 seconds when the temp is reached before the fan shuts down. Why? The thermostat seems seems to have a big
”swing" of as much as 4 degrees instead of the expected 1 degree which means that once the heater switches off at the temperature set, the room's ambient temp has to drop by a huge 4 degrees before the unit reacts and resumes heating. This is not acceptable. I set it to 70 and the room reached 74 degrees (not 70) before it switched off and I then left it on for 2 hours with the room going from 73 to 68 (independent thermometers in room) and still the unit did come on! I had to do it with the remote as I was cold. When set to Eco mode the unit switches from 1500w to 900w every few seconds with a continuous audible click and the short time running on 1500w gives insufficient heat output. I cannot recommend the heater and have returned it. A pity because it looks good and is quiet.

I liked this heater while it was still functional. it warmed up the room fast but it didn’t last more more than a week bc the outlet plug got so hot it melted on the outlet and luckily I caught it on time before it got to the point If no return and it could’ve have easily caught fire unexpectedly at any time and it would have had I not caught it in time. It could have turned into a dangerous situation and would have caused a lot of damage. it’s extremely unsafe. I’ve never had that happen with any of my heaters and I have slept through the night with heaters on so I can imagine had I kept this heater on at night, that it would have started a fire while I was sleeping and very easily would have most importantly harmed me, ruined my property as well as affected other people living in my apartment and been a total disaster caused by one little heater. It is scary to think about stories you hear about on the news or in articles and that very likely can happen to you too because you are not expecting something like that to happen. If a fire starts it’s hard to be prepared to handle that when you just aren’t expecting it to happen and can turn into a disaster you wouldn’t have imagined. Now I’m going to be extra careful Moving forward with space heaters I choose to buy

I LOVED this thing! The style, the remote, I thought it was so awesome. I tried it for a few minutes and thought great it works! Fell in love! Then one night it got cold thought let me turn it on for like half an hour. A few minutes in I hear a loud pop! Half my appliances turn off. Tv, phone, cable, but some still work. Check the fuse box and the fuse connected to my bedroom where the heater was turned off. Was too scared to use it again and returned it. Absolutely HORRIBLE temperature readings! Definitely NOT worth this much money. Seems you're paying for the "modern" look and fancy display rather than good functionality.
I got this a couple days ago. At any given temperature, at times it will make my room blistering hot and other times chilly. Again, at the same temperature. So its just wildly inconsistent.
One example: In the morning I set the temperature to 73 Farenheit. At 5 pm, I noticed my room getting chilly. So I set the temperature to 76. Nothing happened. So then I increased to 78. Nothing. Then I increased it to 80 and it finally turned on. Wtf? It must have been around 68 in my room at that point. So it's just very inconsistent at reading the temperature. Straight up fail. Once it finally turned on when I set it at 80, I set it back down to 73 and waited for a few minutes. And it still kept on going! Can't even make up its own mind as to what temperature it is. Just terrible. I guess no quality testing was done cuz this is terrible, and its sold by Amazon? Do better please. You're paying for the appearance over actual function.

Even after turning it off of and back on again nothing comes out. I have to totally unplug it and replug it then power it back on just to get a couple mode minutes of heat. Its really rather annoying.

I purchased this heater as well as the portable. This was great until it stopped oscillating within 2 months of regular use. The portable I only used once and one of the fan blades broke. No idea how that would happen so must have been damaged during install. It will not function with a missing blade, I assume for safety purposes, which is understandable. I wish they worked bc they better looking than their counterparts in my opinion and the features are nice; both are quiet enough. They both ran fine on high however the "auto" feature would blow a fuse in my house. The taller one I used in the basement and the portable I used in my upstairs office.

Bought last week and it worked great for the first two days but now I turn it on and it turns itself off after about 3 minutes. After that I can turn it on but it won’t heat. The display turns on and allows me to change settings but it won’t start heating. The only way to get it to work again is to unplug and replug in. Unfortunately even when I do that, it’s the same thing where it only works for about 3 minutes and then shuts off again. Unless you are willing to get up and restart the heater every 3 minutes, I suggest you keep looking for another heater.

This product does not heat up a room as advertised. The first product did not blow allot of heat in all 3 modes, Hi, Lo and Eco, blowed the same low heat. I thought it was defective so requested a replacement since I got rid of the box way too soon, expecting it to work. The replacement blows the same low speed, but in addition, does not blow hot air all the time, seems to be an issue with the thermostat on it. I would not recommend this product. Please let me know how I can return this item since I got rid of the packaging.
