Small but MIGHTY!
I literally bought this yesterday, had it shipped to me yesterday and plugged it in this morning in my classroom. Holy moly is this thing HOT. My room is 20'x15'. I read the instructions to turn the dial to the warmest setting and set the thermostat to maximum. Within three minutes I was uncomfortable, I kid you not. I will probably end up moving this little guy to the other side of the room or at least further away from my desk at some point. You can feel the heat throughout the room. I am not normally someone to complain about being cold, but being that I live in the South where it is 75 one day and 35 the next, it is hard for these school units to keep up and it has been a little chilly in my room. I will definitely not have to worry about that anymore!

Small but Great
For such a small heater this puts out a lot of heat and the noise level is low. This is actually better than a tower heater we recently bought for winter that cost 3 times a much. Will order two more for the cold months ahead. Easy to set anywhere it is needed. Very happy with it.
Life saver for small bedrooms
I was having to sleep with an electric blanket every night and even then woke up cold and shivery. This was a god send, and makes sure the room maintains a decent temperature through the night - without costing me an arm and a leg as it only comes on when needed. I love it. My bedroom is a fairly small space and we were worried about getting something too large, this is not only small and easy to store when I don't need it but doesn't take up much floor space when I have it out. It's light and easy to handle as well, which is really convenient.
Great for the price..heats well, not silent
Love this heater. My hubby bought it for me for my office and I keep it under my desk. In seconds it warms up my entire under desk space and keeps me warm in an extremely chilly office. The size is good for keeping it in a corner or under a desk and out of the way. The noise is like a fan. Not silent but not annoying. If your office space needs silence though (like a library) consider that it does make a low fan-like noise. As for the temp. its very good at heating up my space. Sometimes it gets too hot though and i have to turn it down. I only wish there were more adjustments to the temperature nob. However, all in all, it was a good purchase. I no longer star in frozen part 3 here at my office :D
Sufficient for small bathroom
I got this to make up for my new apartment's bathroom not having any heating feature, and it works well. The room's too small to safely (according to the paperwork) operate it inside, so I set it outside the door to blow in. It does warm the carpet in front of it, but I don't run it for more than an hour at any given time (at least so far) and I haven't had any issues. The automatic shut-off is a little pressure sensitive button on the bottom of the heater that's pretty sensitive, which I appreciate. Even lifting the heater to readjust it will cause it to shut off. I have mixed feelings about that, but I generally don't move the heater while it's going anyway, so it doesn't matter much to me. Heats up quick and warms my bathroom pleasantly.
Heat is heat
Worked well over the winter with daily use averaging about 12 hrs.
Heat is heat. Watts in determines btu's out. There is no such thing as a magically more efficient heater (such as Amish heater advertised).
Why pay more than for this one that converts electricity to heat like all the others, by heating a coil. If it lasts that is . One full winter is not a pretty good test.
Great value/works well
I use this at work in a small office and my wife has used it in her large office. It works great. The safety feature is very sensitive so any movement at all and it will shut off. I think that is great. The thermostat is a great feature as well. Plus it is small enough to fit in my backpack with some other stuff so it is very portable.
Highly Recomended! Very Impressed!
When it arrived and I saw how small it was....I thought perhaps I should've bought a different one or two of these?! I had purchased the heater for my grandson's room {very old house} and that little heater CRANKS out the heat!! And I was worried about their dog knocking it over and causing a fire but the safety feature works just as explained. And it being that small is actually more convenient and less ugly as a big unit sitting in his room taking up "play space".
Great heater!
For such a small heater this thing pumps out very hot air, I only use it in my small bathroom because even with the heater on in the house it still gets cold taking a shower. I bought a small one last year and it was really weak and didn’t heat up the bathroom enough. But I can guarantee that this one is hot, doesn’t take up a lot of room, and I’m very happy with it .
Good deal!
Bought this for a small room that has no heat in it but just to try it out, I used it in the larger living room. It puts out a decent amount of heat for it’s size! The only thing I don’t like is the handle in the back isn’t deep enough to hold when you pick it up. However the slightest tap will turn it off which is great for safety.

I bought this heater based on all of the five star reviews and I must say I totally agree with them! I bought this for my office which is in a very old house. My desk is in the "living room" of our office which is extremely drafty. My bosses office is in the back of the house and when I turn on the central heat it gets too warm in his office. I placed the heater under my desk and my space gets toasty warm much quicker than I expected. I'm going to buy one for my apartment too!

Don’t be fooled by its small size. Size doesn’t matter as long as the heat output is great. This heater is actually amazing because it generates hot air within 5 seconds of turning on. It can heat up an entire room within 30 min and if you put it right next to you, you can feel how strong it is. It’s small size is great because it doesn’t take up that much space either.

Nice size. Amazing initial heat output. After a few weeks the heat output decreases somewhat at both settings. It's still a wonderful heater.
REVISED : DANGER. After using this unit almost daily for a month it started to lightly smoked and have an extreme plastic smell on the medium temperature setting. I turned it to the cool setting and it took over 15 minutes for the plastic odor to go away. I hope it was a random defect. I did mention that this thing made amazing heat for about four or five days and then it kicked down a notch but was still very acceptable for the price and size. I don't know what kind of clues that provides but there you have it my experience.

5.0 out of 5 stars Much better than AlphaHeaters

The mini table top heater is this year’s air fryer, iPod, Trivial Pursuit game, or mood ring. They’re ads pop up, people talk about them and since I live in New York’s Finger Lakes I am cold. Winter is the loveliest ten months of the year.
It began on Facebook where I saw dozens of ads for the AlphaHeater. Finally, after reading scores of reviews and articles (that were promotional I suspect) I bought two of them. They produced heat but design flaws made it a pain.
Still cold in here. So when I searched Amazon for “mini table top electric heater and this was the #1 choice. Andily Ceremic Heater. Remember the name.
I ordered two of them. Even with AlphaHeaters Buy one get the second half off, the cost for two Andilys was similar to the AlphaHeater. The difference? Quality. Not only is the Andily much more sturdy but it sits directly on a table top, has an emergency instant shut off so that if at any time the heater should fall or get tipped over (you have cats?) there’s no danger.
But the biggest difference is the heat. While the AlphaHeater produces heat it really doesn’t compare. I have four of these now, perched variously around the place and it heats the whole floor. There’s a thermostat that allows you to maintain a temperature so that, unlike the AlphaHeater, the Andily is still maintaining heat in the morning. (Ya know. When you stand impatiently before the coffee maker and rub your arms from shoulder to elbow and yawn).
I’ve not tried any other heaters to help you choose because- let’s face it- once I found one that made me happy why keep looking?

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Performance, Price And Size!
Reviewed in the United States on April 24, 2020

Now that I've had a full winter season to have hands on experience with this little powerhouse of a heater, I can give a proper review.
We get winter temperatures down in the teens and single digits (°F). I work indoors and outdoors, and often when I come back inside, I'm extremely cold.
I've found that most times, I can use the 750 watt setting and it puts out plenty of heat! However, there are times when I use the 1500 watt setting and then it (really) pumps out the heat!
I've found that even when I'm extremely cold, when using the 1500 watt setting, I don't have to use it for longer than 5 minutes or so, before I'm plenty warm enough, and can switch back down to the 750 watt setting.
When in the 750 watt setting, (as you're looking at the front of the heater) only the right side of the heating coils heat up, leaving cool air coming out of the left side, making a blend of nice, warm air.
Obviously, when you switch over to the 1500 watt setting, both sides of the heating coils heat up, to give you the full capacity of the heater, which is probably more than enough heat for most people.
On the bottom of the heater is a safety switch, which, when the heater isn't firmly planted on a flat surface, will immediately turn the heater off until it is on a flat surface again.
It has two dial type switches at the top; one is a smooth turning dial for the preferred temperature setting, and the other a notched type dial with (Off), (Fan Only), (Heat Setting 1 -750W-) and (Heat Setting 2 -1500W-).
I am able to easily fit this heater into my backpack, and is very light, to carry to and from work.
If I'm using the heater right up to the end of my shift, I've found that if I put the heater in the (Fan Only) mode, it will completely cool the heater off for safe transport in about a minute and a half.
As as personal work/home heater, I love it! I've used it almost every day of winter 2019 into 2020, and I would definitely buy it again.
Don't buy the larger, more expensive heaters if you don't really need to heat a large area. This heater is perfect for under a desk, or near you on the floor.

Three years running these have literally saved our lives. We live in an upper level duplex in Minnesota that is all windows in the main room of the house. For the past 3 years in the dead of winter something major has gone wrong with our heat, and none have been quick or easy fixes. Youuuuu would not believe the heat power these little buggers have! ONE and I literally mean ONE of these tiny little work horses has been the only source of heat we've had for weeks now. We are currently living out of the living/room dining room (since I could only locate one of our little heaters this time) and it isn't small square footage either. I have a one and a half year old and a a notorious freeze baby. My little guy can actually run in a t-shirt, diaper and socks (we have wood floors) and be warm enough. I'm not buried under 10 blankets and a hoodie either even tho it's been below zero some days outside here! It works soooo well that I actually forget we don't have heart til I open the hallway door to the bathroom and it feels like I just sprinted around the block naked out there lol. Anyways long story short I would sing the praises of the heaters from the mountain tops if I could! I am a loyal lifetime customer now and can't wait to get some more!

My furnace control board went out at the end of October. We had trouble finding a new one. I bought this little heater despite the fact that we were having unseasonably warm weather for this area until the middle of November (30's-40's, rather than 10's-20's). I got this on November 3rd, turned it on, and it was literally on high 24/7 until January 21st. I spend much of my time at my desk, which is in a 6x8 dogleg in my bedroom, and it kept that area comfortable. around 64-68 degrees. The rest of my bedroom was about 50, and the rest of the house was about 40. In the last two weeks, we've had five nights when the temperature dropped to between -5 and -15 outside, and -5 inside--except around my desk--and yet the little heater just kept chugging along. And again, it was NEVER turned off. And it has NEVER had a glitch, low heat, or just refused to work. I found a new control board for my furnace, and I installed it three days ago. I turned off my little heater to give it a well-deserved rest. I wondered what shutting it off for the first time would do to it, so today I turned it on--just to check. It heated right up, the fan worked fine (and it's relatively quiet). I simply can't say enough nice things about this heater that I bought expecting it to work for a bit, then have to replace it. Nope; it's a workhorse--especially for the price.

I am usually in my room to work, sleep, study, relax by my desk. I'm the type that gets cold really easily, so I would layer up, and have this heater on and the small heater would warm up my room and it worked just fine. I barely ever had to turn on central heating and I didn't need it because this heater by my feet did a great job. It lasted me throughout the winter and hoping to use it again this upcoming winter! Very lightweight, heat is pretty powerful, the air coming out doesn't cover a wide range in my opinion but it does the job for single, small/medium sized rooms. It's hard to warm up a entire large, open space with this heater so don't expect magic!

I love this heater. It's small, but it heats the whole bathroom. I had a bigger unit, that took up space and didn't heat as well.
I can place it on the sink counter in the bathroom to keep it near me. For more intense heat when I'm showering I put it on a stool near the shower. It's easy to move and shuts off when you pick it up, and turns back on when you set it down.
I'm so happy with this little heater and, the price is unbeatable.

After a lot of mixed reviews I decided to go ahead and get this heater anyways. I've been using it for about 3 weeks now and I love it. I use it in my workshop which is a decent sized room and it heats the room well. There are a lot of complaints about it being loud but mine is no louder than a fan whirring.
Pros: The auto shut off switch works great
The heat adjusts from high to low
Small and light weight
Good for office, workshop, or bedroom sized spaces
Cons: I always forget if the + or - makes it hotter and it is unclear just off of touch until a few minutes later
It is very "touchy." You can only adjust it little by little or it auto shuts off.
The 1st and 2nd heat settings dont have much of a difference if any at all.
Overall I'm happy with this heater. It heats my space well and it was cheap. I will update again if anything changes. I added a video for the sound and it is louder in the video than in my space but you can make your own judgement.

4.0 out of 5 stars Had To Get A Replacement

This was actually the second purchase of this brand of heater. The one I purchased before was about a little under a year ago and still works just fine. My purpose was to heat rooms in my house that have vaulted ceilings often sending my central heat upstairs and leaving the bottom floor cool. Despite its size, this heater does just that. I placed my order for the second one and when I received it, plugged it up and used it the first evening with no problem. Again, the heat output was great for the size, it's relatively quiet (not completely, but not annoyingly noisy) and I was happy again with the purchase. The next day (less than 24 hours after receiving it), I plugged it in, turned it on and there was a visible spark that came from the front and it stopped working. I contacted Amazon straight away and they immediately sent a replacement which I received about 2 days later. It's been about a day or two and I've had no problems with the replacement. I will update again if I have any additional problems, but so far, so good. I will say that although I was a bit irritated with the spark and malfunction, and wait for a replacement, Amazon was very quick to resolve the problem so I was pleased with that. Having had experience with a prior purchase, I would still recommend the heater and I'm thinking this was just a one-off with a defective product.

I was doing hours of research on heathers.... various magazine ratings, blogs, types of unit (the hot-oil kind like DeLonghi that looks like a big old fashioned radiator looked good but cost over $100) and I saw Amazon had a flash sale on this one for $7 and change. My head was full of reasons why the more elaborate heaters would be better, but my heart (the French say, vote on the left but hold your purse on your right), well, my heart said it's $7, try it. I'm glad I did.
It's what it looks like, a tiny electric heater with two heat levels, a thermostat, a fan, and a tip-over lever to turn it off if it tips over. There's a thousand variations on this very simple theme.
I sit in a small area of a large cold room for my office (in the basement) and that's all I need to heat. This heater heats it just fine. It doesn't heat the whole big room much, but it keeps my feet warm and after a few minutes I'm comfy and the thermostat turns it off and on pretty accurately. Fan makes a noise as fans do, but not squeaky or annoying, just white noise.
Nothing fancy but thus far, a nice tiny heater for small areas (you want to be near it) at a low price. I now see its non-sale price at about $30, and it's still ok at that price, but there might be better ones in that range, with fancier features although I don't know what those are or if I'd use them much. Anyway I see people complaining about the clicks of the fanless heathers too, so nothing's perfect.
No scheduling timer, just the thermostat, but I have it on a smart plug so I can schedule it or just turn it off if I forget.

This little heater is compact and easy to use, and it does a good job heating indoor space. I've been using it in the dining room, where my computer is currently set up. If I put it on the floor within a few feet of the table, the air warms up quickly to a comfortable level. The heat output is easy to control with the turn of a knob, and I especially like the auto-shutoff feature should the heater tip over.
My only negative comment is regarding the (lack of) handle. The "ease of placement" and carrying of the heater was one aspect of the product that swayed my purchase decision. In the product description, there is a photo of a woman carrying the heater in one hand. That is impossible. You always need two hands to move this heater. The handle slot into which you grip is only one-half inch deep. In my opinion, that photo and the whole emphasis on ease of placement should be removed from the product description.

This small heater works well to warm my small RV, but the temperature control has too wide of a range in responding to changes in temperature in this small space. If I manually adjust the thermostat when the desired temperature is reached (as the instructions say), then the RV must get almost 10 degrees cooler before the heater kicks back on (Checked with a thermometer). It is hard to find a happy medium. I can work with this, but it is way less sensitive than the small heater I was using before. I wanted to replace my original heater due to the noise of the fan (this heater is definitely better in that category), but the temperature swings are pretty dramatic.

I just received this yesterday, so haven't had enough time with it to speak to it's reliability long-term, or effectiveness in really cold days.
The heater puts out lots of warmth, and the back and sides remain cool while running. The fan makes a bit of noise, but it seems to be moving a fair bit of air, which is what you want for warming the whole room. I've only run it in the low power and Eco modes so far, and it's put out enough warmth to keep toes toasty and raise the temperature of the 300sq ft room. Using the Eco mode, the temperature inside went from about 60F to 71F over the course of about 4 hours, while temp outside went from 40F to 48F over that same period. This was the only inside heat source, other than some cooking in the adjoining kitchen. The controls do not seem to get warm, and operate smoothly. The thermostat control and anti-tip switch seem to work as they should.
I like the little Red light on the front that lets you verify at a glance if it is running. I wish it also lit up (maybe Green light) just from being powered on.
So far I am pleased with my purchase. If this proves reliable, I may order another. ??
(Update) I have noticed that if I run the heater on its highest 1500W setting, it seems to shut down after just a few minutes due to internal heat. Both the lower settings work great though. The fan may not move quite enough air for the 1500W setting.

For a while, I had absolutely no problems with this little heater. The heat output was great and I just loved having it. But today, suddenly the fan began stopping and starting randomly, and eventually it just died. This all happened within about 20 minutes. Tried cleaning around the fan to make sure nothing was blocking, to no avail.
Frankly, I blame the stupid safety feature. I understand why it's there, but that doesn't mean I like it. In fact, the safety feature isn't engaging the way its supposed to when it's set up properly. Basically, there's a little tab on the bottle that clicks into place when it's set firmly on the floor, but it stopped clicking and just kind of hangs there uselessly--which is why I think it's that. I could be wrong, however, as the coils still heat up, but the fan just doesn't work. (*Correction: after posting the review, I decided to see if I could make it work and turned the dial on, and the little light on the front that let's you know it's on didn't light up, so it's probably definitely the stupid "safety feature"...) Whatever the case, there are "no user-serviceable parts inside," as it helpfully states on a sticker on the side. I haven't decided if I'll purchase another one of these or look for a different space heater sans "safety feature."

It worked fine for immediate heat in a small area, cooled off quickly, made no noise, emitted no smell, and was basically perfect except for the frightening instructions.
That said, PLEASE FOLLOW ALL instructions. I, for example, would never use this unattended, but if placed in a bare room, might feel OK leaving it unattended for a few minutes.

In my house, my office is the furthest from my HVAC unit in terms of duct work, and when I've had to work remotely closed doors means the room was regularly about 5 degrees Fahrenheit cooler than the main rooms. This is not a surprise in a older house and not an issue most evenings, but when I had to work remotely over the fall and winter, mornings were pretty rough. A small space heater seemed like a better option and this one was inexpensive and it has worked well enough. Fan was powerful enough to warm me up from a couple feet away, and while loud enough that I try to have it off when I know I need to talk in a zoom meeting, its powerful enough that after 30-60 minutes I'd usually warm the room up enough that I could turn it off. While there is some sort of temperature sensor in it and will turn on the fans / heating units, it's all guess work. Not a surprise for its price, and I'm fine having it fully on or fully off, but if its important to you consider a better unit.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but blows cool air through one half of vent on heat setting

I have been using this space heater for about a month. It is pretty good. It gives off enough heat and is quiet enough to suit my needs. Yet from the day I started using it, the heat veered to the left; it didn't blow out evenly from the vent. That's not a big issue; I just angle it so the heat is directed where I need. What's weirder, though, is that after a few weeks of use, on the lower of the two heat settings (which is the setting I most often use), the device started blowing cool air through the right half of the vent, while simultaneously blowing warm air through the left half of the vent. So, depending on how I angle it, I can actually feel cool air rather than warm air on the low heat setting, which is undesirable. It's a rather strange defect of the product. But here too, I can usually angle it properly so I just feel the heat, so the device is still useful to me. I'm just hoping it actually continues to blow out some warm air on the heat setting as time goes on.

This heater works pretty well to keep my sun room warm enough for houseplants in the winter. I have it on one end of the room and another small ceramic space heater on the other end (both turned on low). Together, they keep the room at a consistent 65 degrees F. The Andily Space Heater does not seem quite as responsive to temperature as the heater I already had. It takes longer to turn itself on and off. Also, it is a bit loud. It's fine where it is, but if I needed it in a bedroom, it would be too noisy. It puts out good heat, but one side of it seems not to heat the air, so it blows a strip of cold air along its right side and hot air from the rest of the heating surface.

I really like this heater. I bought it for my master bedroom and bathroom, to keep it warm enough for my houseplants in the winter. I only needed to bring the temperature of the room up ~13 degrees. I love that this heater has the option for low and high heat, and a thermostat dial. I keep it on low. Unfortunately, the thermostat dial does not turn the heater on until you bring it about 1/3 of the way in. This keeps my room too hot ): I have to turn it off and on throughout the day to keep it the right temperature. It's annoying to do that, but it's okay. I just wish I could turn the thermostat on a little. It's a great heater. I think if you are just wanting to heat a single room up only a little, maybe get an even smaller heater.

3.0 out of 5 stars Although a great little heater, auto temp sensor didnt work long
Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2019
Color: BlackVerified Purchase
The safety of this little heater is perfect for our daughters room. If it tips over, a switch/sensor shuts it off immediately. It is in the bottom of the heater, and the switch it depressed when sitting on a flat surface, allowing the heater/fan to run. If the heater is knocked over or picked up, the switch is no longer depressed/engaged and shuts it off.
The one issue I seem to have with it is, there is supposed to be a sensor to regulate the temperature in the room surrounding the heater. Some times it just doesnt work. Some mornings I come into our daughters room, it is cold and sometimes is is blazing hot.
The sensor, if it ever worked, is unreliable at best. So, it is a toss up as to if the sensor works or is worth the purchase.

3.0 out of 5 stars Hard to lift
Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2021
Color: WhiteVerified Purchase
This heater replaced one with a broken switch. I like that it's small, the color white, and that it generates a lot of heat. Using the heat thermostat is unclear in the instructions. They indicate markings on the dial which don't seem to be there. Now confused. Biggest problem is the grasp to lift it. There is barely a way to grab hold of it. The heater easily slips from my hand because there is a very small indentation on top of the heater to lift it. Also, it turns off automatically when lifted off the floor - not a feature I like. Finally, instructions say 'do not use in the bathroom'. Don't remember seeing that in Amazon's product description. That's the room where I want to use it. I think it's a safety concern due to the presence of water in the bathroom. I don't plan to stick it in or near water. Looks like their lawyers wrote the safety provisions.

I hate that I'm about to leave a negative review in this heater. unfortunately, first it was delayed & I have no idea why when it was in staten island ny and I live in manhattan ny. but anyway, first the positive, 1 its small & doesn't take up space. 2 the safety control under its great & so are the knobs. 3 it makes NO noise whats so ever. now the negative, unfortunately it's not very powerful. I don't know if my room is to big or it just doesn't give out much heat. I like my room hot and this gave me only warm. I had to cover myself up not just with my quilt but also a fuzzy blanket to keep warm. maybe its a better fit for a smaller room or a cubicle but for a big bedroom or living room, I would say no.

3.0 out of 5 stars Worked well at first, but then not great. Throwing it away
Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2020
Color: BlackVerified Purchase
We had this as a supplemental heat source in a room that is over a garage. At first it worked very well. If the room was at 65 degrees, we would turn the thermostat on and then go just a hair past when it would just turn on. We figured that this would get the room to around 70 degrees. This worked well to start, but it seems like the sensitivity in the thermostat was lost pretty quickly.
Eventually, the thermostat did not seem to register things. At times, the temperature would get up to 80+ degrees when the thermostat was on just barely past the current temperature of 66ish. The heater then started to be very very loud when it first started up (3-5 minutes it would stop). It was enough of an annoyance to just decide to get rid of it and find a better one. I would not really recommend this. It does heat up a good sized room, but it seems like the quality is lacking.

It's a heater, I got it for $25 and frankly thats a bit high, this thing is worth maybe $15, but it's fine, it does the job. Within 2 or 3 days the safety switch at the bottom that turns it off if it tips broke after the thing fell off a chair, so I shunted it. No more safety switch, but at least it turns on. I've had two of this same model and both of them blew a bit of cold air out of the right side of the grill when turned to the 750 W setting. This isn't necessarily bad, it can kind of be angled to turn the cold part away, and its almost a bit useful in some circumstances. It has a metal grill and a plastic fan, whereas ideally that would be reversed. This product is definitely more expensive than it should be and there is absolutely no way I would pay the full $40 that this product is supposedly listed at. But it's quite warm being 1500 watt, and with the apparent discount it's decent. You could definitely get better for your money, but you could also get worse

This is not well made. The product (shown in photos) have edges that does not sit flush against the heater.
The heater itself heats the direct space pretty well but occasionally noisy. If you set it down and pick it up while it's on, the auto off will work. However, once you set it down again, it seems to cause something in the heater to vibrate causing a lot of noise. I often time have to shut it off if I answer a phone call.
The heater is small in size so you will have to prop it up on a chair or table. Despite of the size, it heats pretty well. There is some cold air that is released but this seems normal for heaters.
I tried using the temperature control for auto-shut but it has not worked for me yet. Probably because my room size is too big for the heater that it continues to stay on to heat the space entirely. I just use it at my desk or in the living room directly beside me.

I like the safety feature that makes it stop when it is picked up or knocked over..I was having some issues with my central heating and since I live by myself and use mainly the kitchen/living area along with the bathroom, this is quite effective. I bought this to use in a small bedroom and replace one that's 20+ years old and a safety hazard.
Unfortunately, this heater sounds like something is rattling inside of it when it's on. At first we thought we could live with it, but the noise has actually gotten worse in the week and a half we've had it in use.
The other features work great - it regulates the temperature well in a small room, auto turning off to prevent sauna-level heat and auto-turning on again when the temp drops in the room. I didn't test the tip-over feature, but it appeared to be in good order.
It's just too bad about the noise.

2.0 out of 5 stars poor design, uneven heat
Reviewed in the United States on November 3, 2021
Color: WhiteVerified Purchase
I have two other space heaters of a similar cost and size (honeywell and black and decker). They are pretty basic devices and they all work fine. The reason I didn't like this andily heater is the airflow and heat output are not uniform. The air doesn't flow straight out of the heater, it blows out at an angle to the side. The other issue is that when you have it on the low setting, it seems like one side of the heating element turns on and the other side stays off (left vs right), causing cool air to blow out one side and hot air to blow out the other side. If you stand in front of it, it feels like a strange mix of cool and hot air. This doesn't happen when it is on high. None of my other heaters have this issue. I can only chalk this up to poor design. I returned it. Also note that the fan on this model is a bit on the louder side compared to some others. I did like how small, compact, and square it was however.

2.0 out of 5 stars It was great until the safety concerns

I admit that this is a difficult review to write. When initially delivered, this product was left completely exposed on my sidewalk in the rain. As this is an electrical item, Amazon was kind enough to send me a replacement, allowing me to discard the one that got drenched. With that in mind, I had no safety concerns using the replacement product. And, for the first few weeks, it went great. It was so nice to have something at the level of my feet that kept me warm while working from my home office.
Unfortunately, when it went wrong, it went wrong. I heard a strange noise and initially blamed my gas heat, so I turned that off. Then I noticed that the fan on the space heater was no longer turning, and something smelled burned. Before I could react to this, the smoke detector went off. I immediately unplugged the space heater and carefully brushed off the front to account for anything stuck in the grill. I then very tentatively turned my real heat back on. We were fine with this for the rest of the day, but the smell of burning started again the second I plugged this space heater back in, and the fan still did not turn.
I am not willing to take risks for a space heater. This product worries me, and I have serious reservations.

I bought this heater to help heat my small bathroom. It is sufficient enough to do the job. The problem is I didn't want to believe some of the bad ratings given on this particular unit. When I first received it it would not come on by its self. I would then raise the thermostat and it would come on. Now this was a very small movement to make it come on almost like it was stuck. Then it would not go off unless I tapped the top of the unit on the thermostat control again like it was stuck. After several weeks of playing with the thermostat it started to work better but still not 100%. I realize it's not an expensive unit and I knew this going in. If they would use a better thermostat and charge a few more $ they would have a nice product.

I turn it colder to click off, and it never comes back on. I turn it to a cooler setting and it never shuts off. So it's either on full blast and gets too hot, or off and it gets cold. It gets SOOOO wildly hot it’s insanity-IE-this is my 3 rd heater I’ve had in the same spot & it’s been sitting atop a metal scale because my the area is SO tiny it’s on a bottom shelf with a wooden lip (yeah old 1940’s build) anyways to not scorch wood, I’ve always had it in metal scale slightly tipped over that wooden lip, I noticed the other day after we’ve had -27 that the metal was warped & inner plastic of scale was all melted this is all my fault but remember I’ve ALWAYS used a small heater in this exact spot for idk 7 years, & since its doesn’t have a thermostat of going OFF/ON... it just gets Insanely HOT ?? Which is good. We don’t have young children or pets at this point but I’d be pretty nervous to have it near a floor with any pets/ kiddos. If it did shut off & on it would be a 5 ?? rating- could be my assumption that it was suppose to work like that... cuz ummm... almost every small heater I’ve ever encountered does exactly that! ? This device is an ironic failure.
I purchased this to use as a supplemental cabin heater for my truck- my dog likes to hang out in there during the day and if it’s below freezing I plug in a small heater to keep her warm.
This heater is small and easy to place within the vehicle, has a positive tip over switch, runs quietly, and makes all the heat one would expect from any other equivalent 1500 watt device. But: once left inside the truck overnight it displays a perplexing fault: its fan won’t run when it’s cold. The fan rotates weakly, too slowly to push any heat out of the ceramic coils. I suspect whatever was used to lubricate the motor’s bushings congealed once much below freezing, as the fan worked fine after I had moved the heater back indoors to warm it up. Additionally, the insulation on the power cord becomes hard as a rock and can barely be flexed when close to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Any colder and I fear the slightest bending would break the insulation and make the unit unserviceable.
It’s a fine heater for under desk use or to warm an indoor space where it can remain above 40F. Get it any colder and it becomes a fire hazard.

I bought this heater to warm a small room, to be used for 1/2 hour or so to a couple of times a week. After 6 weeks of occassionally use, it barely works. Overheats after 5 minutes;then shuts down. Not what I was expecting, spend a bit more and purchase a better heater.

1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn’t alway shut off automatically

I really wanted to love this little heater cause it is powerful! And it’s so small which is perfect for my tiny place. But two big issues have made me stop using it.
1) the sensor to shut off the unit at a certain temperature doesn’t alway work. I came home on my lunch break and realized my poor pup was baking cause when I left the heater on it was 40 degrees and our crazy Texas weather had warmed up to 80 degrees by 1pm and the heater hadn’t shut off!!! It was almost 90 degrees in my trailer and this heater was still blasting. This has happened several times since while I was home so it wasn’t a one time deal. Don’t leave unattended!!!
2) there is a “rattle” or “clicking” noise that happens every now and then. It started after about two weeks of use and woke me up in the middle of the night it was so loud. It is SO annoying. It sounds like a plate is a little loose causing it to go “click-click-click” I can’t deal with the repetition. I tried to spray it with condensed air to clean it out but it still makes the noise.
So if you don’t leave it unattended, and the possibility of a repetitive clicking noise won’t bother you - go for it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Awful product

Just awful. I'm 82 years old and feel colder now than I used to. I simply need a small heater to heat a very small bathroom (about 6' x 8') when I come out of the shower. I need to spend about 10 minutes in the room, blow drying my hair and applying body lotion. Not a big deal. This throws no heat at all. If I stand right in front of it (not practical to do) I can feel some heat....that's it.
Please send me a label to return it. I will appreciate it. Also, I can see where price went down quite a bit--not worth it to me at any cost.

I have had this heater for about a month, it was pretty good about what expected in terms of strength. it even has a cool feature where it automatically turns off if it falls over or is lifted off the ground. I never turn it on when Im not in the room (thankfully) but this morning I had it going for about an hour then started smelling burning plastic. It was subtle, and sometimes I get smells from the kitchen in my room so I didn't pay much attention since I was working on a final. I look up and my room is filled with smoke. que panic. I shoot up off my bed and turn off the heater, and unplug it just to be sure. the end of the cord was hot. im not sure what caused the smoke. I keep my heater in the center of the room, so the heat wasn't aimed at something that melted. the smoke must have been coming from the device itself. I have my window open to air it out thankfully I was in here to turn it off. DO NOT BUY this heater. NOT SAFE

1.0 out of 5 stars Heavenly… the SINGLE WEEK it worked

For the ONE WEEK this heater worked, it was Divine. It heated the room fast, had several settings and modes, and — I almost thought I was in love until… 1 week later I near froze to death in my room because it just… couldn’t get it up anymore… Sad. I really thought this heater was The One. The knight in shining armor to keep me warm all night… Too bad.

1.0 out of 5 stars It was a dud

This heater was delivered October 3rd. Today is October 18th. It won't turn on. I fiddled with the stupid safety button on the bottom. Adjusted the thermostat. Nothing. It won't turn on. I don't have the box, so I can't return it. It's a $25 piece of garbage. It didn't heat that well. Hot air came out of the bottom and blew mostly cold air out of the top. Most of the time, I turned it off because I would get cold.

1.0 out of 5 stars AWFUL. WEAK HEAT. JUST NO.

This thing is useless.
I live in the mountains in Vermont. I bought this to heat a very small 8' x 10' bathroom to take off the morning chill and guess what? This thing barely puts out any heat.
The internal heater fan is just weak. I literally stood right in Front of this thing and I barely felt any heat being generated. Just to be sure, I confirmed that the product was working fine. So disappointing.
I previously had a tiny Lasko 754000 - it's a nuclear powerhouse. After turning it on, in just one minute you can feel the heat swirling around you like a vortex, and in within 2 minutes, you actually become uncomfortably hot which is just the way I like it!
So, I'm going to return this lackluster little Andily "heater" and start looking for a used Lasko instead.
[Headsup - The Lasko 754000 is no longer available on Amazon, but fortunately you can still find them used on Amazon so it's worth a look.]
Absolutely beyond me why this inferior product got thousands of positive reviews.
Don't waste your time.

1.0 out of 5 stars Repeat of a bad purchase

I purchased this item twice. The first one stopped working within a few months. The company replaced it at no charge so I purchased a second one for my bedroom. Now I have two heaters plugged into power strips in different rooms and they both work for about five minutes then knock the power out on everything plugged into the strip. I will not purchase another heater from this manufacturer. Shame on Amazon for being a part of this.

UPDATED 2/22/21 -- I was pretty pleased with this little guy until today. Today, while sitting at my desk I began to smell smoke and heard the sound of something shorting out... I've used this maybe 10 times in 2 months, absolutely no reason for it to fail like this.
------
I bought this on sale for about $18 to supplement another model that I have. This one can crank out some heat... small but powerful little unit here. The thermostat does a good job of maintaining temperature while minimizing run time.
2 small issues for me prevent this from getting 5 stars -- 1) it is pretty darn noisy, like really loud. 2) the carrying handle is just a slot in the back of the unit... unfortunately that slot is less than 1/2 inch deep making it impossible to carry without wrapping your fingers around the front of the unit (which creates a burn risk if it has been running).

1.0 out of 5 stars Heater plug melted and overheated the outlet
Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2020

Heat output is great but the plug of the heater melted and got jammed in our outlet. The wire also got very hot. The heater had been kept in the same place since we purchased it two weeks ago. Luckily I tried to change its place today and realised the plug had melted and the wire was overheating. This product is a serious fire hazard!!! We were unable to pull the heater plug out of the outlet - it has melted and welded to the outlet! We will be needing an electrician to cut the wire and replace the outlet. Talk about an expensive and life-threatening situation

It does blow hot air, no problem there. But HUGE problem if you want to sleep in warm weather. It says turn it up all the way then when desired temp in room, turn it down until it clicks and it will keep that temp. WRONG. I go to sleep at 70, i wake up at 60. It loses 10 degrees over night, and if you compensate for those 10 degrees by turning it up, you cant sleep cuz its too hot... uou turn it down JUSSST A TINNNYYY BIT... and you wake up in 60 degree cold. Ive tried and tried, theres literally NO WAY to wake up warm. (Unless you can sleep when its 90 degrees

The heater heats well but it has such an overpowering chemical / cheap plastic smell that we can not use it. Even after airing the new unit out in fresh air for a month, it still gives off an odor that just burns my eyes.
