I live in San Francisco and like to sleep with an open window. I close the window when I get up. This Lasko heater quickly takes off the chill and warms me as I drink my morning coffee without my having to utilize the gas heater, and with the control I don't have to get up. I wish it were easier to move: I am arthritic and find the handle slot a little difficult to grasp, hopefully not an issue for you. Great buy for me.
Wonderful heater!
Great heater for small spaces. We live in a 32’ RV with 2 medium size dogs and 2 cats. Love the ceramic heating. Having the air blow out of the unit is really nice. We were using an oil heater, which was good for the radiant heat, but this is so much nicer. Unit does not get hot which is so great when having animals in close quarters. My husband is disabled and not very mobile so having the remote is REALLY convenient for him! Love the oscillation feature. We are so impressed with this unit that we just bought one for our daughter who lives in a small apartment. Great little space saver heater for the price!!
Best room heater I ever bought!
Purchased this unit 1 year ago and it's still running great. I use it in a walk-out basement family room which is very large and stays chilly all year long. This heater keeps at a comfy 71 degrees with the automatic temperature setting. I use it so much, that I'm buying another unit for the winter in an upstairs bedroom.
Satisfied
Arrived undamaged and in timely manner. I threw away the directions, but it appears this shuts down when it reaches the room temp you have it set on. I use it in a room that is 17'x17' and it can raise the temp by 3-5 degrees within an hour. It is not hot to touch and it is hot enough air you want it at least a foot away.
Horrible for the price
I thought by buying more expensive it was going to work great and actually last longer then space heaters I have purchased in the past but i was wrong the first one quit working after an hour so I returned it for another one..that one stopped working after a night of using it! And the amount of time it’s taken to get my refund back has been horrible!
Better than others
Just received this. Plugged it in. Used the remote to turn it on and comfortable, warm air came out. It was 65 in my place so it felt good and just leaving it alone until I read the instructions later. Used to have those oil filled ones and this is way better directional heat. Hope it lasts.
