#1:Dreo Space Heaters for Indoor Use, Atom One Portable Heater with 70°Oscillation, 1500W PTC Electric Heater with Thermostat, Fast Safety Heat, Remote, 1-12h Timer, Upgraded Small Heater for Office Home
Pleasantly Surprised!
I purchased this heater for my garage as it is my workshop for my small business. I have a standard 2 car garage in Northern Nevada. The outside temperature was in the 57 degrees F area during the day. The garage, being uninsulated, was colder. For one particular task I create, I need the room temp to be consistently around 70 degrees F. I have a standing heater with no blower already in the garage yet it only produces heat within a 5' area directly in front of it. This heater, the Dreo, I was pleasantly surprised by. I placed it at its max setting 95 degrees and a timer. This powerful oscillation heater heated my garage to the temp I needed and maintained it! I am sure I may need to order another one for the garage when the weather gets colder as it does in Northern Nevada, yet for the size of this heater, it is truly amazing! If anything changes, I will update my review however, for now, I am completely satisfied!
Controls, Display, and Remote Control are 100% What were needed.
Front display of functions is the right view for front viewing. Top buttons are downward, so you aren't pushing it backwards with front controls. Fingers hole in back for carrying! 30seconds of fan only when turning it off so it cools down. Remote control looks very nice and has all of the functions on it. Oscillation just like the big heaters. 1500watts just like the big heaters. (limited due to 15amp household circuits. Amps x Voltage = watts.) Electronic controls so you aren't just guessing at turning a rheostat (voltage divider) that isn't calibrated. I DO NOT like throwing away money on products that make you pick one or two functions but pack alot of functionality into their product. Well thought out useability and convenience. Typical first 10 to 20 minutes of smell that all heated products have like air fryers, heaters, hair dryers. The power cord is not a cheap flimsy one. Nice thick, quality cord but bendable. Hope this helps. Even Human Factors Engineers and other Engineers would have trouble complaining about anything about this product. Designers also would like it's good-looking design. Hard to tell from photos. In real life, it looks good! Not a paid review. Just a tough customer who likes what was bought.
Quiet , heats well
It's everything the manufacturer claims , quiet while heating well . I have a DB sound level meter and on low speed its only at 39 decibels , what the manufacturer claims and only 45 decibels on its high heat setting where the fan runs a little faster , making it quite compatible for sleeping . Its small , easy to move with an adequate recessed handle . The touch controls on top of the unit as well as on the remote control are simple and straightforward to use. The control back light goes off 30 seconds after use so there's no annoying light at night in the bedroom. Heater also has a count down display for just the fan to run 30 seconds after its turned off to protect its inner workings from baking in residual element heat . I've owned a lot of dpace heaters and this little heater was well thought out, designed and constructed. A good value for its modest price .
Awesome Bedroom Heater
I bought this heater last year from Walmart for my infant son’s room. It worked so well that when my bedroom heater broke I knew I was going to buy another. This newer model comes with a handy remote. I love that you can set the preferred room temperature and the heater will turn off and on accordingly. The tip over feature was a must for my household since we have pets and a toddler. Overall, I am extremely impressed with this little heater. *Side note: the BTUs are the same for this model as they are for the larger, more expensive models made by the same brand. Always check the BTUs to make sure you’re getting the best bang for your buck.
I am impressed
I opened up the box as soon as it arrived. Turned it on and instantly felt the heat. It came with a remote, it has a timer from 0-12 hours, warranty extension of up to 5years, it oscillates, it has a dust filter on the back that can be cleaned, there is an ECO mode setting, and it counts down 30s after pressing the off button to cool down etc. I love it so far! If any issues arise, I’ll be sure to let y’all know.
Great Little Heater!
The first thing you see is the quality of the construction. It’s very well designed. The control buttons on the heater and the remote exactly mirror each other, so there’s no confusion. And it’s so intuitive to operate that you don’t even need a manual; but there are a few advanced features that you wouldn’t know about otherwise, so read it anyway. The unit puts out a lot of heat for its size. It’s very quiet, even when oscillating. And the washable filter is very easy to access and clean. The safety features (for tip overs and overheating) are top of the line, so you can feel safe leaving it on. It’s a great value and well worth the slight extra cost over the cheaper heaters. We just bought a couple of small lake cottages up north, so we purchased four of these heaters for extra individual comfort when we’re there. Definitely a good purchase.
Great Heater
I don’t write many reviews. I wanted this for my RV since the propane heater puts out to much heat in the bedroom and bath area. When I got the heater, I thought it was great. However, the big number temp display was bright and I’m a light sleeper. Fyi….the temp number display fades away after about 30 seconds and the sound of the heater is pretty darn quiet and it oscillates if you want it to. I’m impressed! After turning it off it it counts down and it’s cools to the touch. It also has a handy remote. Hopefully it last long.
